How we keep LIFE BENEATH SCRUBS on the record

1The situation

One company owns the mark. Another one sells under it

LIFE BENEATH SCRUBS is a healthcare lifestyle brand: apparel, content, career guidance, and an AI coaching product. The trademark is held by PalladiumPeak LLC, a holding company, and licensed to the operating company that runs the brand day to day.

That split protects the mark, but only if the paperwork keeps up. The license needs regular quality-control checks, the owner on the record has to stay right, and four classes each move on their own clock.

2On the register

On the record the day it was filed

The application went in on 17 September 2026 on an intent-to-use basis, in classes 025, 035, 041 and 042. The same day, the serial went into Archecura: the owner matched to PalladiumPeak, the four identifications pulled word for word from TSDR, and the filing receipt attached to the mark.

A similar mark is already registered in class 041 for hosting social events. Our identifications were drafted to stay out of that lane, and the record notes it so the question doesn’t get lost when the examining attorney reviews the file.

3What happens next

Nothing to remember, because the docket already knows

USPTO notices arrive by email only, and a first action on a new application usually takes seven to nine months. The docket holds a status check for 17 December 2026, and quarterly quality-control reviews start once the license is signed.

When an office action arrives, the three-month response window goes on the docket with reminders at 60, 30, 14, 7, 3, 1 and 0 days. After allowance, the statement-of-use clock and its five possible extensions are tracked the same way.
